This work is the result of the admiration that Puigmarti felt for the portrayed actress, Linda Evans, starring protagonist of the popular T.V. series from the 80’s, Dynasty.

In a deployment of technical and stylistic resources, Puigmarti shows us the portrait divided in two halves. On the right side we see the face of the actress in a hyper-realistic way, almost like a photograph. On the left side, the surreal vision of the character. We can see a series of iconographic elements typical of the surrealist Puigmarti that we find in other works from the same period, such as apples, tears, eyelashes and dry tree leaves. Similarly, the pupil of the eye maintains the base colours of the original, but adorned with a profuse lobular decoration.

This is one of the few portraits that the artist painted during his entire career.
