Pahissa is a painter and sculptor who started painting as a therapeutic technique:<\/p>\n …One day, I took a canvas, some brushes and some oils to test if the paint filled that empty space, and the strokes and the colors filled the canvas and at the same time they also filled me … <\/em>(Josep M\u00aa Pahissa)<\/p>\n During this initial stage he dedicated himself to the search for an iconography and style that would define his personality as a creator. After this period he received artistic training at the now defunct Estudi Art<\/strong> school, under the guidance of the teacher and painter Julio Ramos Visied<\/strong>o.<\/p>\n Currently, the artist from Barcelona is developing a very consistent pictorial work, supported by his own iconography and style, which is influenced by constructivism and in a very particular way by the master Wassily Kandinsky. However, his overflowing creativity and his great mastery of different techniques, especially drawing, have led him to explore different themes throughout his career.<\/span><\/p>\n Pahissa has held several exhibitions at the Hotel del Arte<\/strong>, where his work is on permanent display.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Read more” open=”off” _builder_version=”4.19.5″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” toggle_font_size=”18px”]<\/p>\n His constant evolution, his creative freedom, and his search for new iconographic elements and new themes have led to the development of new products and services. The result is a work that places and interrelates pure geometric forms with others more organic and biomorphic, straight and broken lines, formal language and reflective act versus personal language and automatic act. Likewise, in some of his works we can appreciate a certain socio-political criticism expressed in a subtle way, giving a real vision of the polyvalence of this creator.<\/span><\/p>\n His artistic restlessness has also led him to research in the field of sculpture.
