Undoubtedly, he is the most relevant artist of the current Spanish “pop” scene.

His visits to the Hotel Estela are regular. As a result of his friendly relationship with the hotel, in 2014 he painted and decorated room 116 “Tribute to Audrey Hepburn”. Also that same year the hotel hosted an exhibition of the artist.

[/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Read more” open=”on” _builder_version=”4.19.5″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” toggle_font_size=”18px” theme_builder_area=”post_content”]

The artist from Valencia introduces a taste for refined aesthetics, mixed with a subtly ironic language. The result are works of great plastic beauty in which there are nods to American pop artists with a decontextualized advertising and cinematographic component that gives the work an interesting language that captures the attention of the observer, who feels “forced” to unravel and interpret the whole iconographic world.

Logos, Cinemaspop or Popsport, among others, are some of the series or collections of the Valencian creator, who in spite of his youth accumulates an artistic career of several decades demonstrating with coherence that Pop-Art is still in vogue.

Numerous important collections, both public and private, have works by the artist, such as the Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS), the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno (IVAM), the Sydney Besthoff Foundation of New Orleans (United States), the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemizsa Collection and the Kneip Collection of Luxembourg, among others.

[/et_pb_accordion_item][/et_pb_accordion][et_pb_button button_url=”https://hotelestela.com/en/art-information-request/” button_text=”More info.” button_alignment=”center” _builder_version=”4.19.5″ custom_button=”on” button_text_size=”16px” button_text_color=”#FFFFFF” button_bg_color=”#D5A87D” button_border_width=”1px” button_border_color=”#D5A87D” button_border_radius=”0px” button_letter_spacing=”1px” button_font=”||||||||” button_use_icon=”off” custom_margin=”33px||||false|false” custom_padding=”15px|30px|15px|30px|true|true” global_colors_info=”{}” button_bg_color__hover_enabled=”on” button_bg_color__hover=”#000000″ button_letter_spacing__hover_enabled=”off|hover” button_letter_spacing__hover=”1px” button_border_color__hover_enabled=”on” button_border_color__hover=”#FFFFFF” button_text_color__hover_enabled=”on” button_text_color__hover=”#FFFFFF” button_bg_enable_color__hover=”on” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][/et_pb_button][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_gallery gallery_ids=”54770,54769,54768,54767,54766,54765,54764,54763,54773″ gallery_orderby=”rand” zoom_icon_color=”#D5A87D” hover_overlay_color=”rgba(0,0,0,0.49)” _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”default” title_text_align=”center” title_text_color=”#6B6B6B” title_font_size=”13px” title_line_height=”1.9em” caption_text_align=”left” caption_text_color=”#FFFFFF” caption_font_size=”1px” caption_line_height=”16px” width=”100%” custom_margin=”26px||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}” caption_line_height__hover_enabled=”on|desktop” caption_line_height__hover=”16px” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][/et_pb_gallery][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Antonio de Felipe (Valencia, 1965)From a very early age, his artistic interests lead him to study and graduate in Fine Arts in Valencia.
