This sculpture belongs to the decade of the 50’s of the XXth century. At this time, Subirachs, has already started to adopt the expressionist style and begins his journey through the abstract style. However, this sculpture continues to maintain the voluptuous and rounded shapes that marked his early years in the 1940’s, when he was still influenced by the «Noucentist» style that he learned from his previous master.
